Viewing configuration
/reportsetup statusHandling a report
Each report card in the queue channel shows the reported message, author, channel, reason, reporter count, and a row of action buttons:
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| Claim | Marks the report as yours so others know it's being handled. The card updates to show who claimed it. |
| Warn | Issues a warn case against the message author and marks the report as resolved. |
| Timeout 1h | Applies a 1-hour timeout to the author, creates a mute case, and resolves the report. |
| Delete | Deletes the reported message and resolves the report. No case is created. |
| Dismiss | Resolves the report without taking action. |
Buttons require Manage Messages or Moderate Members permission. Once a report is actioned, the card updates to show what was done and by whom.
โ The Claim button prevents two mods from actioning the same report simultaneously. If a report is already claimed, clicking Claim shows an ephemeral message identifying who has it.
