Case Management
Every moderation action (ban, kick, mute, warn, note) automatically creates a numbered case in Lunova's database. Cases have a reason, evidence, and can be edited after the fact.
Viewing a Case
/case view case_id: 42Displays full details for a case: action type, target, moderator, timestamp, reason, and any attached evidence.
Manage MessagesEditing a Case Reason
/case edit case_id: 42 reason: Updated reason textUpdates the reason on any existing case. The edit is logged — the original moderator's attribution is preserved and the editor's ID is stored alongside the change.
Manage MessagesAdding Evidence
/case evidence case_id: 42 evidence: https://i.imgur.com/…Attaches a URL (image link, screenshot, etc.) to a case as supporting evidence. Evidence is shown when the case is viewed and displayed in the mod log channel.
Manage MessagesListing Cases
/modlogs [user:] [action:] [page:]Lists all cases for the server. Optionally filter by a specific user or action type (ban, kick, mute, warn, note). Results are paginated — use the page parameter to navigate.
Case numbering
Cases are numbered sequentially per server starting at 1. Case IDs never reset or change. Deleting a case is not supported — edit the reason or add a note instead to keep a full, honest record.
Auto-created cases
The following actions create cases automatically without needing a manual command:
| Source | Case type created |
|---|---|
| Report actioned (warn) | warn — reason: "Warned via report #N" |
| Report actioned (timeout) | mute — reason: "Timed out 1h via report #N" |
| Strike threshold hit — auto-mute | mute — reason: "Strike auto-mute after N warnings" |
| Strike threshold hit — auto-ban | ban — reason: "Strike auto-ban after N warnings" |
| AutoMod — spam/caps/etc. (mute action) | mute — reason: AutoMod rule name |
