Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Lunova collects only the data necessary to provide its services:

  • Discord IDs: User IDs, guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, and message IDs for moderation logs, tickets, and configuration
  • Moderation data: Actions (ban, kick, warn, mute), reasons, timestamps, and associated case IDs
  • Ticket data: Ticket creation/close events, channel IDs, and reason text
  • Server settings: Configured roles, channels, limits, automod rules, custom commands, and welcome messages
  • Dashboard data: Your Discord user ID and username for authentication, and which servers you manage
  • AI data (if enabled): Message content sent to the locally hosted Ollama service only when AI features are explicitly turned on

We do not collect: passwords, payment information, IP addresses, or data from servers where Lunova is not present.

2. How We Use It

Data is used solely to operate the bot and dashboard:

  • To execute moderation commands and log them
  • To create and manage ticket channels
  • To display settings and logs in the dashboard
  • To run AI-powered features (only when enabled by the server)
  • To enforce per-server limits and prevent abuse

We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. We do not use data for advertising or profiling.

3. How We Store It

Data is stored in a SQLite database on the server hosting the bot. The database is encrypted at rest. We use secure sessions for the dashboard. No cookies are used for tracking.

4. Data Retention

Data is kept for as long as Lunova is in your server. When you remove the bot from your server, associated settings and logs are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting the bot owner.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Remove Lunova from your server at any time
  • Request a copy of your data or its deletion
  • Disable any optional features (AI, logging, tickets) in the dashboard

To request data deletion or a copy, contact the bot owner through the official Discord support server.

6. Third Parties

The only third parties involved are:

  • Discord: for bot operation and OAuth login
  • Local Ollama: for AI features (only when enabled by server admins)

No other third parties receive your data.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated. The latest version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be announced in the official support server.
